It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire, the foul-mouthed Brooklyn rapper who burst onto the scene with “The Last Huzzah” a few years ago, but today he’s back with a new EP called Brainiac. Serving as eXquire’s first full-length release since 2015’s Live Forever, the six-song project contains grade-A raps over gully production from The Alchemist, Parallel Thought, Canya Reial and CONSTROBUZ. Fellow New Yorker Meyhem Lauren makes a solo guest appearance on “Bebop and Rocksteady,” which sounds like an early standout.

Word is eXquire is working on a new album called Black Genius, but in the meantime, stimulate your brain cells with his Brainiac EP below.
