Earlier this week, the notorious pharma CEO/wannabe super villain jumped on Periscope and claimed he owns a copy of Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V, but declined to say how he acquired it or how much he paid for it. “Let’s just say this thing fell into my lap,” he said.

To prove he wasn’t bluffing, Shkreli played a 20-second snippet from Tha Carter V (which is apparently a double-disc album) over his livestream.

According to TMZ, the music Shkreli leaked is real, but Wayne’s camp is launching an investigation into the matter. The next thing falling into Shkreli’s lap might just be a lawsuit from Cash Money.
