It’s been just over two years since he released To Pimp a Butterfly, but it looks like King Kendrick is preparing to make his return in 2017. Early this morning, the Compton rapper deleted all his Instagram photos, leaving only a cryptic post that reads “IV.”

The number four in roman numerals, it could either be a reference to what would be his fourth studio album — following Section.80, good kid, m.A.A.d city and To Pimp a Butterfly — or a possible April release.

Although Kendrick has been playing his cards close to his chest, he did touch on his upcoming album in a recent interview with T Magazine. He called the music “very urgent” and suggested it would focus on God and his community.

Whatever Kendrick’s new album sounds like, and whenever it’s being released, I’m sure we’ll find out soon.
