J. Cole Rocks with Kendrick Lamar in N.C., Performs New Verse
Posted by Mr.North under Concerts , Performances[3] Comments
This year’s BET Music Matters tour starring TDE’s Kendrick Lamar pulled into The Fillmore in Charlotte, NC on Tuesday night. The setting was perfect as K. Dot brought out the hometown star in J. Cole to perform “Nobody’s Perfect.” Before getting into “Can’t Get Enough,” J. Cole previewed a new verse for the sold out crowd. Where it will end up? Only time will tell.
Watch Kendrick and J. Cole rock Charlotte after the jump….

That #1 album was NO fluke! Cole got bars. Sold 600k copies in total (US), that’s 200k more than Wale & 300k more than Big Sean! Roc Nation’s “Turn our new signees into opening acts for already established artists on tour” formula seems to work to perfection. Worked for Wale despite him signing to MMG as an artist but Roc Nation’s still his management team! Back to the focus point (J-Cole), early on I sensed dude was lacking personality but it’s obvious he’s found his niche. He makes Drake look like a gimmick! Hats off!
