Kanye West just let his Twitter fingers fly once again this afternoon, in which he called out the Grammys for ignoring Future, Young Thug and A$AP Rocky while declaring “the world needs a guy like me.” In the midst of all that, Kanye unexpectedly made a major announcement: he’s dropping a new album this summer.
Now, it’s unclear whether Ye’s referring to a new project entirely, or that’s when the “final version” of The Life of Pablo will eventually be released. And this is Kanye West, let’s not forget, so a clear answer isn’t going to come easy. But considering he just debuted a new song featuring Sampha last night, Kanye’s clearly got more good music on deck (no pun intended). Stay tuned.
UPDATE (2/27): Kanye West reveals the new album coming this summer will be titled “as of now” Turbo Grafx 16, named after his favorite game console.

I don't want to just fix the awards for me but I want to fix it for Dexter Navy who directed A$AP Rocky’s LSD video.

— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) February 24, 2016
You like your black people a certain way also. You wouldn't have Future perform and that man owned the clubs last summer.
— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) February 24, 2016
Has anyone at the Grammys ever heard March Madness??? Yes I have a problem with the Grammys.
