kanye west i am a god

After sending Twitter into a frenzy last week with the words “June Eighteen” — a date many believe to be his album’s release — Kanye West continued to tease his massively awaited LP by performing new material at the Met Gala last night. Donning a Givenchy shirt, a leather skirt and his new trademark, a studded mask, Yeezy debuted his much-discussed “I Am A God” single, among other new songs (he told the crowd he’s “only singing new stuff,” according to model Coco Rocha).

While we (impatiently) await Vogue Magazine to release HD footage of Kanye performing “I Am A God” this Friday (according to Team Kanye Daily), here’s a few snippets of his set captured on Vine (and converted to YouTube, because that’s one less headache).

Get a taste of Kanye’s new material after the jump…

Also, Hudson Mohawke recently previewed some new Kanye tracks at a recent event. Again, just grainy iphone footage for now. (spotted at FSD)
