Justin Bieber may have been the butt of many hilarious (and some not so much) jokes on last night’s Comedy Central roast, but he’s quickly regained his cool with some big news on his forthcoming album.

In a new interview with USA TODAY, the 21-year-old pop star revealed that he’s been working with Yeezus masterminds Kanye West and Rick Rubin on his new project. While it’s unclear what kind of musical direction this collaboration has manifested, it sounds like Justin is all about showing his new-found maturity on this new album.

I don’t want to say “it’s different,” because that’s what everyone says. But it is different, it’s a grown-up version of Justin and I think people will be shocked.
