Iggy Azalea on Why She Signed to Interscope and Wanting to Work With Missy

As it was revealed by XXL Magazine that Iggy Azalea is the first ever female MC to make the Freshman Class, the Interscope signee sat down with our friends over at Good*Fella Media to talk a range of topics. Iggy discusses why she decided to sign with Interscope, as well as how she has been affected by Whitney’s death.
“I thought it was the best work for me, that’s why I ended up signing. But, it didn’t have anything to do with my management being Interscope. If anything, it made me question it more, because having management and label being the same company can get tricky, sometimes in terms of an artist interest, but to me Interscrope is kind of family…”

Her mangers work for Interscope. So of course that’s the deal that was on the table to take. Their not gonna shop you to Atlantic. At the end of the day, she has a 360 deal more than likely. So I guess it makes sense because labels re trying to cut out outside managers in order to take a bigger slice of the pie
