After six years in hibernation, Gorillaz are ready to make their return in 2017. Confirming rumors that have been circulating the Internet all year, the band’s co-founder Damon Albarn announced a new Gorillaz album called Humanz, set to drop on April 28.

2D, Russel, Murdoc and Noodle will be joined by a star-studded cast that includes Pusha T, Vince Staples, Danny Brown, Popcaan, D.R.A.M., Anthony Hamilton, De La Soul and Kali Uchis. Australian actor Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One, The Dark Knight Rises) will narrate the album’s interludes.

Giving us the first taste of Humanz, Gorillaz have released a six-minute short film which includes snippets of “Saturnz Barz,” “Ascension, “We Got the Power” and “Andromeda.” Gorillaz will perform the album in its entirety at a concert in London tomorrow night. Tickets are available here.
