Bad news: the wait for French Montana’s MC4 just got longer. Despite everything looking like it was in place for it be released this Friday, the Bad Boy rapper has been forced to put his sophomore album on ice due to sample clearance issues.

“Due to some sample clearances that are still being worked out, I have to move the album release date,” French announced on Twitter. “I want to apologize to my fans that are waiting, I want to make sure the album is something special.”

Unfortunately, French couldn’t provide a new release date for MC4, but at least he’s given us a good chunk of the album to keep us occupied in the meantime. *plays “No Shopping” at ignorant levels*
