One artist won’t be included in the nominations for the 2017 GRAMMYs. Frank Ocean, who released the albums Blonde and Endless back in August, will not receive any nominations for those projects at next year’s award show.

Billboard reports a rep for the GRAMMYs revealed neither albums were submitted for consideration by Ocean’s labels or management despite both being released ahead of the 2017 GRAMMYs eligibility cutoff date of Sept. 30.
There’s no details if Frank Ocean and his labels intentionally decided not to submit the albums for consideration or if there was an oversight or confusion about eligibility. Endless, a visual album, was the R&B singer’s last album under Def Jam Records. Ocean followed that up soon after with the release of his proper album Blonde via his own Boys Don’t Cry imprint. That album debuted No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart in late August.
