We’d be lying if we said we’re not disappointed that Dom Kennedy’s Get Home Safely won’t be dropping while the sun’s still shining, but that clearly hasn’t affected the vibe of the album itself. The Leimert Park native has just debuted the first official video, “South Central Love,” and it’s another wavy cut that’ll happily fool you into thinking it’s summer all-year round (or just counting down the minutes ’til next year comes around). Get Home Safely arrives October 1.
Watch “South Central Love” after the jump…

DOM has gotten soooo lazy I no longer look forward to his projects, but I’d rather listen to his lazy efforts over Casey Veggie’s failure-rap.
