DJ Hero, the videogame, announces DJ Jazzy Jeff’s participation from Miss Info on Vimeo.

Last week, I got a chance to check out the upcoming DJ Hero videogame from the folks at FreeStyleGames/Activision…which finally gives fans of the GuitarHero franchise (as well as music gaming overall) the chance to combine gaming and music and DJ-ing on a really polished mainstream level. We’ve already discussed how GrandmasterFlash will be involved, and Eminem and Jay-Z will be featured in a special edition of the game….so today, Aaron from Activision sent me this clip of their latest announcement: DJ Jazzy Jeff’s participation in DJ Hero.

In the clip, Jeff talks about being honored to be in the game, his beginnings as a DJ, and you can see 2 gameplay clips of Jazzy’s exclusive DJ Hero blends: Tears for Fears “Shout” vs. Eric B. & Rakim “Eric B. Is President” and LL Cool J “Rock the Bells” vs. The Aranbee Pop Symphony Orchestra “Bittersweet Symphony.”
