The lineup for the 2014 edition of Dilla Day Detroit — the annual concert commemorating the late, great producer J Dilla — has been announced. De La Soul, Slum Village, Guilty Simpson and Phat Kat are all set to perform, while DJ Premier and Pete Rock will face off in a DJ battle. A Tribe Called Quest’s Phife Dawg will also make an appearance to debut the video for his newly released song, “Dear Dilla” (stream below).

Dilla Day Detroit 2014 takes place at The Fillmore in Detroit on Feb. 7 — what would have been J Dilla’s 40th birthday. Cop tickets here.
