Watch as the full story is given following their early preview. Atkins is also the man responsible for the single’s unique artwork that’s loved by the masses (me included).

Plus Nas speaks on his memorable Egyptian chain and praises Kanye for his current version. The final segment features the two performance the classic “Verbal Intercourse” while out in Oslo, Norway.

you know how i know when a song is heat? when they created so much buzz and attention off it they give you a backdrop of the story into the creation of it lol Just goes to show that people will support something if they feel its real.

This song is not that hot. Let’s keep it 100.
It’s a record that I’m happy got made, in terms of the direction. Yes, it would be great for us to hear real sounding beats and crazy rhymes.
But this beat isn’t crazy. It’s got the ‘sound’ but the melody just isn’t that ill.
just my opinion.
p.s. all these videos just for one song? lol. It’s like these cats think they’ve got an Illmatic/”I used to Love Her” joint right here. Even if they did, the video gets a bit dickriderish after a while.
let the music speak for itself.

Mmm… I respectfully disagree. Ghetto Dreams is heat – hands down. I do agree that folks are hypin’ it a bit, but this is a case where the hype is well-deserved. If it were some obscure underground undiscovered gem, purists would be complaining that the new school doesn’t respect real rap.
So they’re documenting and celebrating good hip-hop – What’s the problem?

Damn…this song is fire.(period)
Thankful for any Common thats Hip-Hop (not that UMC stuff.) He’s responsible for 1 of my early childhood memories. i remember my uncle playing “The Light” back in 97 when i was 3!!!!

Well it would be nice if they could do a full length album…they both got the mindset to write about any subject matter from science to politics to lifestyle in general…i mean why not?
today what’s hot is collabo’s … Jay & Kanye is most anticipated…Lil Wayne & Drake we still awaiting…since there’ll be no Nas & AZ, then let it be Nas & Common?
