Ciara was all smiles on Monday night, celebrating her recent 28th birthday by hosting Moët Rosé Lounge at Houston’s Hotel Derek. The newly engaged singer wasn’t shy about giving photographers a close look at her 15-carat diamond engagement ring from fiancée Future. The ring, designed by New York City-based Avianne & Co Jewelers, was presented to CiCi by her rapper boyfriend during a birthday celebration event in the Big Apple this past weekend.

“That’s where I am at this day and time in my life and I’m also with someone who makes me extremely comfortable to be that way, which is really important. The way that he makes me feel, why not? If you love somebody you should express it, and now I understand that. There’s nothing sexy about hiding your love. There’s nothing sexy about people not acknowledging each other.”
