Nicki Minaj appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (Jun. 27) to promote her new single, “MEGATRON.” The Young Money Queen sat down with the comedian/late night show host to discuss her new record going No. 1 on iTunes, and announcing that her new album is on the way. Minaj revealed that she has a release date and title ready but decided to keep those details quiet.

Backed by The Roots, Minaj would play a game of ‘Wheel of Freestyle’ where she had to include three random words into her rap. The most hilarious moment came during a segment where Nicki and Fallon went out to dinner at a local Red Lobster. Minaj, who used to work for the restaurant chain before rising to rap fame, ordered a big feast and later served dishes to patrons.

Last year, Amazon and Meek Mill announced an upcoming six-part docuseries called Free Meek executive produced by Jay-Z, Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, and Paul and Isaac Solotaroff. Back In March, a preview was released and now the official trailer is here. The docuseries gives an in-depth look at justice reform and the Philadelphia rapper’s much-publicized battle with the criminal justice system

Free Meek debuts on Amazon Prime Video on August 9th.

Earlier this week, Rihanna made her way to New York City to host a FENTY x Webster pop-up experience with fans and tastemakers. During her visit to the Big Apple, the pop star and entrepreneur caught with Seth Meyers for some good old day drinking at The Jane Hotel. The encounter was filmed for Thursday night’s episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, where Ri Ri indulges in some Rihanna-themed cocktails made by Meyers.

Forbes returns with the first of many lists revolved around the earnings and wealth of entertainment’s biggest stars. On Thursday (Jun. 13), Forbes revealed the richest rappers list of 2019. Leading the way is JAY-Z, the newly crowned billionaire, becoming the first Hip-Hop entertainer to hit billionaire status according to the publication. Following the Roc Nation mogul are familiar names Dr. Dre ($800 million) and Diddy ($740 million). Kanye West makes his debut on the list, with his successful adidas partnership and YEEZY line ($240 million). Drake rounds out the top five ($150 million), with his real estate investments, Virginia Black whiskey, touring and his new residency at the XS Nightclub in Las Vegas contributing to that amount.

Forbes‘ Zack O’Malley Greenburg appeared on The Breakfast Club to break down the list. Greenburg, the man behind this list and the popular Hip-Hop Cash Kings list, explains how the earnings are calculated and the process to obtaining such information. Watch it all below.

Kanye West is one of the stars who Letterman sits down with, as the two cover a wide range of topics during the in-depth interview. The rapper/designer cites the passing of his mother, Donda West, for the root of his mental issues that he’s kept stable since being diagnosed 2 years ago.

YG experienced a personal blow earlier this year, as frequent collaborator and close friend Nipsey Hussle was gunned down back in late March. In honor of his fellow Los Angeles native, the Compton star releases his new studio album, 4 REAL 4 REAL. The album, which features the epitaph “In Loving Memory of Nipsey Hussle” on its cover, includes the singles “Go Loko” with Tyga and Jon Z, and “Stop Snitchin.” The follow-up to last year’s Stay Dangerous LP is tracks, featuring appearances by Ty Dolla $ign, G-Eazy, Meek Mill, Da Baby, Kamaiyah, Boogie, Valee and more.

The Atlanta hitmaker, whose “Old Town Road” continues to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart, caught up with The Human Serviette after performing with Billy Ray Cyrus at the music festival in Miami, Florida. In the conversation, Lil’ Nas X is gifted a 60-year-old country magazine, a emoji bubble bath, and a vintage Canadian belt buckle.
