Bruno Mars Hosts & Performs on ‘SNL’, Debuts New Song “Young Wild Girls”

Bruno Mars accomplished quite a feat on Saturday evening as he served double-duty of host and music guest on Saturday Night Live. The singer/songwriter also was featured in various funny sketches, most noteably dressed up as a blonde-haired school girl. The Grammy Award-winner hit the stage twice to perform his lead single “Locked Out of Heaven,” and premiered a new cut titled “Young Wild Girls.”
Expect Bruno’s sophomore album Unorthodox Jukebox, December 11.

I was impressed with Bruno Mars’ ability to imitate different voices. He even plays a disturbing, yet funny girl that was perfect. I couldn’t see the show live the other night since I was working late at DISH. I set up my Hopper to automatically record the show so I could watch it the next morning. It’s nice that I can have the entire season on my DVR, and still have plenty of recording space left over. Bruno Mars is one of my favorite artists, and I hope he hosts again one of these days.
