Recently, Vine was taken by storm by one young rapper from East Flatbush, Brooklyn named Bobby Shmurda of the GS-9 crew. As a relative newcomer to the mainstream rap scene, most fans may have no idea who this kid is, but his single, “Hot N***a,” has taken off organically. First, his “Shmurda” dance became a craze online, but now everyone from Meek Mill, White kids from Akron and major labels are paying attention to the kid based off the growing success of the one song. Meek even brought the kid out in Miami this weekend to perform “Hot N***a” at KOD. Let us know what you think about what could be “the next big thing from NYC.” It looks like the city finally has an answer to Chicago’s young bucks.
Watch the video below and listen to the GS9 mixtape below…

No wonder white rappers have taken over the game we just keep making the same tired song over and over and over . Shit is mad boring ppl can barely actually rap they just bite other peoples flows and write some simple simon shit over the same beat everyone is on shoot a youtube video and then publications hug their nuts to be the first one to catch a talentless chief keef posing with their crew and pulling mean mugs

If he’s NYC’s answer to Chicago’s artists then consider NY in serious trouble.

This begs the question. Is there still room for street music in mainstream Hip Hop? And if so how must it be presented.
We have Top level talents that don’t move in the mainstream with street content. Whens the last time you heard MOP or MOBB in steady rotation? LOX got a lil love when Trinity dropped, but none of this groups dancing.

What the haters don’t understand is…that backpack rymefest shit work at some spots, but in a diff culture within the culture it don’t fly. When the young cats spit about shit they experience and shit you never ever seen in your life or been a part of, it’s expected of you… To hate. This is the culture hipsters fear. Immigrant niggas, Hood niggas, g-men, niggas deep for a reason, lawless ones, Flawsing ones, flagging niggas. United ones.
NYC has been missing it’s true representation of the hood for a long time. And here it is! All the weirdo faggot hipster shit came out of nowhere and you sweet tooth in the crib niggas excepted that shit. ENY, Flatbush, Crown Heights, Coney Island, and all the real spots in BKLYN that still live in 93-96 know what’s going on. Yeah we still chasing niggas down for talking shit. Bring it to yo front porch, your lobby, your momma house, grama house, daddy house, wifey house.
The haters be the ones that got robbed at Fulton mall broad day, back in the day. Jumped on the platform and walked home barefoot. Now you hipster. Smh we all need haters though. ENY BK ALL DAY. Hipster weirdos fucking up Brooklyn for real!!!!

I really enjoyed Blu’s album (and also posted it http://www.missinfo.tv/index.php/blu-good-to-be-home-stream/) but that’s the way game is dude. All the way back to MC Hammer/Vanilla Ice etc.
