HBO’s ‘Boardwalk Empire’ Series Heats Up in Season 2
Posted by Mikey Fresh under Life Beyond Rap , Things I Love[15] Comments
I know there is a ton of rap music dropping today but I just wanted to drop a quick line about HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. The series based around the prohibition era of the 1920s-1930s’s in Atlantic City is a little hard to follow but has been really good the season. I’ll admit last season didn’t fully convince me but everything is really falling into place. The suspense, action, plot, violence, sex… it’s all there and done really well.
Check out Vulture’s full recap of last night’s episode.
Check out a video clip after the jump…

Best show on tv imo, this and Breaking Bad are neck and neck.
You didnt like the first season? I thought the first season was great, the acting in this series is so good.
I was skeptical that Steve B could carry a show, I didnt love him on the Sopranos but he made me a believer.
I still like Jimmy and Nucky being on the same side but this season with them going at it is great.
Nucky gonna win though, you know that.
Capone, Lucky, AR, they are great actors on this show.
Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Justified, Sons of Anarchy are the best shows on tv.

This is my jawn, Miss Info. Show’s content/direction is grade A quality, like Peter Luger’s steaks. Michael Pitts (“Jimmy”) is the new Leonardo DiCaprio…if there’s such thing as a new Leo (lol). I’d like to make mixed babies with Pitts, with his fione powder milky skin…
I’ve to catch up to the last 2-3 episodes… so far, I like the fact that Ms. No Nonsense-Irish Biddie-Margaret Schroeder has stopped questioning Nucky and turned into a ride or die bottom bitch. (e.g. handing her Man over his emergency stash of cash in the leather purse, when he thought it was lifted by the pigs) Or has she turncoat/flaked on him (again) in the last two episodes? Not sure if I can trust Ms. Schroeder all the way yet, LOL.

Damn Mikey ur a tough ass critic! I don’t know what possibly went wrong last year to NOT convince that it would be the absolute SHIT this year? Far as debut seasons go, it didn’t get much better than that bruh! Everyone from the streets to the board at the Emmy’s agreed upon that but to each his own as always!

Damn, Miss Info.
No mixed babies with “Jimmy Darmondy”, I researched the actor who plays him is half emo and half goth. I thought he was half thug and half Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Uh, hell to the No: http://keepfeeling.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/4f47142f131b.jpg
