Jay Z wasn’t always the star he is today. Back in the late ’80s and ’90s, Hov was still trying to get his weight up in the streets of New York. While rolling with Big Daddy Kane, the Brooklyn bred hustler made a short appearance on the early days of Rap City. In this vintage clip, Jay is asked to spit a short freestyle (without even being introduced properly). Oh, how things change.
