Fans are still stuck at Beyonce’s big baby announcement on the red carpet of the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, but she drove the message home at the end of her VMA performance just in case anyone didn’t hear…Baby On Board!
Beyonce belted out “Love On Top” in a Morris Day pant suit, and then at the end of the song, she threw down the mic Sexual-Chocolate-style, popped open her jacket, and started rubbing her pregnant belly. Cut to Jay-Z getting the “atta-boy” from Kanye, grinning from ear to ear, and cheering his wife and mom-to-be.
Sure, it’s television. But it was also about life. Super cute.

Beyoncé, 29, posed for photos with her hands cradling her belly, teasing, “I have a surprise!”
“I’m happy to say it’s true,” her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
“They told friends in the last month,” a source tells PEOPLE. “She’s never been happier. Seriously it’s all she’s been waiting for. And Jay is like an excited kid. They’re adorable.”
This will be the first child for Beyoncé and her husband of three years, 41-year-old Jay-Z, who performed “Otis” at the VMAs with Kanye West.
