A$AP Rocky dropped the Tame Impala-sampled “Sundress” and accompanying music video last week. The A$AP Mob leader shifts from the new record back to his latest album TESTING, with a visual for Gunz N Butter.” James Mackel directs the polarizing clip, which tackles societal issues. The video starts off with Rocky on top of a car speeding through the desert. Later it flips to a scene where a doppelgänger of Charleston church shooter Dylan Roof is seen cleaning a weapon inside a bedroom. The Harlem artist/designer leads a mosh pit during a club performance, before flashing to klan members assembling in front of burning crosses and a SWAT team moving in to chaos on a quiet residential street.

A$AP Rocky will embark on the “Injured Generation” tour, running from Jan. 8 to Feb. 6 in 2019.
