Posted by Mikey Fresh under New Music[32] Comments
Nation was the first one to let loose with the news of ASAP Rocky’s latest single, but our friends at Complex got the jump on the actual track. Produced by 40, the undeniable single is likely to serve as a single on Rocky’s upcoming debut album. This is a hit, man.
Listen to “F*ckin Problem” after the jump…
New Music: A$AP Rocky Feat. Drake, 2 Chainz & Kendrick Lamar – “Fuckin’ Problem” (prod. by Noah “40” Shebib)
[Full lyrics via RapGenius]
[Verse 1: A$AP Rocky]
Hold up bitches ?
Takin’ hella long bitch give it to me now
Make that thing pop like a semi or a nine
Oh baby like it raw with a shimmy shimmy ya
Huh, ASAP get like me
Never met a mother fucker fresh like me
All these mother fuckers wanna dress like me
Put the chrome to your dome make you sweat like Keith
Cause I’m the nigga, the nigga nigga
Like how you figure?
Getting figures and fuckin bitches
She rollin swishers for her bitches
I ? my niggas they getting ? off the liquor
She love my licorice
I let her lick it
They say money make a nigga act nigga rich
But at least a nigga nigga rich
I be fuckin broads like I be fuckin bored
Turn a dyke bitch out have her fuckin boys
Beast[Hook]
[Verse 2: Drake]
I know you love it when this beat is on
Make you think about all of the niggas you’ve been leading on
Make me think about all of the rappers I’ve been feeding on
Got a feeling that’s the same dudes we been speakin’ on, oh word?
You ain’t heard my album? who you sleepin’ on?
You should print the lyrics out and have a fucking read-along
Ain’t a fucking sing-along unless you brought the weed along
Then Juuuuuuuuu (laughs) Then Juuuust drop down and get yo’ eagle on
Or we can stare up at the stars and put The Beatles on
All that shit you talkin’ bout is not up for discussion
I won’t pay to make it bigger I don’t pay for no reduction
If it’s comin’ from a nigga I don’t know then I don’t trust it
If you comin’ from out here then muhhfucka get to bustin’
Yes Looooooooooooorrd I don’t really say this often
But this long dick nigga ain’t for the long talkin
I beast[Hook]
[Verse 3: Kendrick Lamar]
Yeah ho this the finale
My pep talk turn into a pep rally
Say she’s from the hood but she live inside in the valley now
Vacation in Atlanta, then she going back to Cali
Got your girl on my line, world on my line
The irony of fuck will make em at the same damn time
She eyeing me like a nigga don’t exist
Girl, I know you want this dick
Girl, I am kendrick lamar
Aka Benz is to me is just a car
That mean your friends need to be up to a bar
See my standards are papered by threesomes tomorrow
Kill em all dead bodies in the hallway
Don’t get involved listen to what the crystal ball say
Halle berry, hallelujah
Holla back i’ll do ya
Beast
Pharrell has been a fan of Kendrick’s latest album, and took to Twitter earlier today to lend his support, even comparing the rapper to Bob Dylan:

WHAT A HORRIBLE SONG …
LIKE HIP HOP IS SO BAD NOWADAYS THAT YOU START TO FEEL LIKE A HATER THERES NEVER ANYTHING NICE TO SAY … LIKE I DONT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I SAID SOMETHING POSITIVE ABOUT A SONG, ITS THE SAME THING EACH AND EVERY WEEK, SAME FEATURES SAME CHORUS’s WHERE THEY REPEAT THE NAME OF THE SONG OVER N OVER.
EVEN WITH THE NEW UP N COMING ACTS … THIS IS SO FAR AWAY FROM ASAP ROCKYS STYLE N MIXTAPE (LIVE LOVE ASAP) … SAME WITH KENDRICK LAMAR THAT m.A.A.D City track is a MERCY ripoff … AND THEN MEEK MILL, HIS SONGS HAVE BEEN THE WORST HES DOING MMG (SAME BEATS, BIG FEATURE FOR ATTENTION ext) INSTEAD OF DOING HIM DOING PHILLY … ALL THESE 3 NEW ACTS DEBUT ALBUMS ARE THE XACT OPPOSITE OF THEIR MIXTAPES THAT MADE THEM BIG AND GOT THEM FANS.

i can hear this on the radio all fall and winter. big up asap
October 18th, 2012 at 7:55 pm
I’m not sure how this can be called an instant hit. I like then Song, but this is not Otis… that’s the last instant hit i’ve heard in a long while.
October 18th, 2012 at 8:04 pm
Missinfo is on the radio saying this is hot, good to know I’m not the only one with ears.
This is lukewarm trash juice.
October 18th, 2012 at 8:06 pm
really?! you dont like it? I mean…do you hate it or are you just not convinced? I personally like it, and I think the verses are good too. To b fair, I’m a fan of all four mcs and the producer….
October 18th, 2012 at 8:42 pm
Chorus is horrible and the verses sound like featuring spots slapped together.
and I don’t mind these artists individually, well future just for comedic value.

Dope
October 18th, 2012 at 9:00 pm
First time in a while I’ve liked the lyrics more than the beat and hook.
October 18th, 2012 at 9:06 pm
i have to agree with the first poster this is lukewarm nothing special. I can listen to it again but its like one of those YMCMB/MMG records they play on radio all the time. Its not overly annoying but its nothing to write home about or sing along to. wont even get into my car despite the nice base in it
October 18th, 2012 at 10:29 pm
I’m not sure if I don’t like this track because it was labeled as being “Hit”. And I was expecting a different vibe or something of that nature. This is the type of track that I would love when Flex drops 1,000,000 bombs on it and then when you go back to it it actually sucks.
I know were info is coming from, they are referring to bad bitches…. she happens to be one.
October 19th, 2012 at 1:56 am
Interesting reading these replies. I think that one of the things happening now is that folk get turned off to some degree being told that something is “hot” before they label it as such themselves.
The joint is iiiight to me. In the club maybe while tipsy music…..maybe.
October 19th, 2012 at 2:32 am
you’re sounding like a hater right now. You should shut the fuck up and be mindless. swallow the garbage rappers feed you!!! be a good dickrider!
October 19th, 2012 at 3:17 am
@ Miss Info…
That’s the biggest problem with Hip Hop that’s what’s killing/killed it, that the fans are f8cking with tracks over whos on them rather than the quality.
Basically its *THE FANS* that killed Hip Hop (from the inside and outside).
And when I say *THE FANS* I don’t just mean the guy in the crowd or the guy who buys the albums, but also the website owner who’s a fan and so prioritizes/speaks well of an artist work no matter what.
The Dj who’ll play mostly an artist he/she favours music no matter the quality or what the ppl want.
The bias album reviews by a fan of that artist.
The Jermaine Dupris and YN who’d sit on panels and vote their friends/favourites as the best in the game even if they don’t the lyrics and sales don’t support that notion.
The blogger who’d start listening/following Pusha T (even though they never gave a f* about The Clipse before) coz he with Kanye now the rapper they fux with lol.
The blogger who’d say **YO THAT 2CHAINZ SONG IS NOT TRASH YOU AINT LISTENIN TO IT RIGHT ITS GOOD FOR A CLUB SONG, ITS THAT IGNRNT SH*T NIGGA** as if a club song cannot be original/lyrical/smart … lol nah fam the song is just wack.
Its the fan who says **SO WHAT IF HE FAKE, SO WHAT IF HE A WHITE BOY FROM THE BURBS WHO WHEN TO A PRIVATE SCHOOL AND DID GYMNASTICS … BUT SAYS HE SOLD GRUGS ON HIS IPHONE AND HE WAS HANGING WITH THE BLOODS … THE LYRICS AND REALNESS DON’T MATTER NIGGA I JUST WANT GOOD MUSIC NIGGA** Its those killing Hip Hop.
I can go on and on but it’s a beautiful day 2day in Durban (South Africa) and im going to the beach … but you could feel the doubt in Miss Info’s post just by how she ended it lol.
Its ok if its not an amazing song Info chill … you don’t have to force it coz you a fan of the rappers and the producer.
As a fan of ASAP Rocky he has way not good songs than bad songs, this on is the later and that’s ok … and if you a Rocky fan like you say then you know is multiple features thing and this chorus is not ASAP Rocky at all.

I don’t usually comment on this and other rap sites I just like to read what other Hip Hop Heads feel, but I kinda agree a lot about what Siy is saying it’s the truth. Its all about who you are now and who you affiliated with.
What this song also suffers from is the big name syndrome, coz when you see big names you expect a great song and it just fell abit short for me with the names on it.
Enjoy the beach my brother the weather is shit here in Oslo Norway.
October 19th, 2012 at 4:12 am
YAAAAAAAWN. I FEEL LIKE THESE GUYS DID THIS RECORD ONE OFF NIGHT ON THE FIRST LEG OF THE CLUB PARADISE TOUR. OVERALL. IT NOT REALLY GOOD AND EACH RAPPER IS BETTER ON THEIR OWN, BUT I GIVE THEM A “E” FOR “EFFORT” TO KEEP A THEME AND A “T” FOR NICE “TRY”.
BUT THE REAL STORY IS ROCKY…IS HE STRUGGLING TO FIND A SINGLE? CUZ THIS AINT IT.
October 19th, 2012 at 4:25 am
Aha Im glad you mentioned the BIG NAME thing Rasmas.
You see back in the days (not too long ago about 10/12yrs ago) when you was a big name you has really a big name on the quantity of quality music you’ve put in … on the worldwide sales you’ve sold, great writing ext … so when a song with big names is released it never disappointed it lived up to its big name status coz the big names were big names by merit and earning that title.
But nowadays you’d get a song with big names and you’d have big expectations … and then when you hear it uaually falls short of your expectations coz the big names are not big because of quality music and world wide acclaim, but they big coz … they just big, nothing to do with the music quality.
Im not doing a good job explaining this but I hope you get me Rasmas.
October 19th, 2012 at 4:56 am
@ Siy@.
Yeah we get you bruh. In these days you not big coz of the quality you diliver, longevity, sales or a meaningful contribution to hip hop … you big because of the lil buzz you have and who you stand next to.
In 2days hip hop Chief keef and French Montana are big, that’s why Frrench Montana thinks he can talk shit bout 50 in interviews or on twitter even thow he hasnt contributed anything to hip hop, sold anything or has a catalogue of quality hits like 50 has.
It is what it is bruh
October 19th, 2012 at 4:58 am
WHEN THE F*%K DID THIS BECOME BOUT THE STATE OF HIP HOP ?? YOL INTERNATIONAL NIGGAS NEED TO CHILL.
THE SONG IS WACK END OFF (THE PRODUCTION FLOW RAPS CHORUS, ESPECIALLY WITH THE NAMES IT HAS.
NEXT !!
October 19th, 2012 at 6:05 am
This is a radio hit, but definitely not a hit with Rocky’s fan base.
It’s too much going on on this record, and sounds nothing like we’ve heard from Rocky before. He needs to realize that his fan base is hoping for an extension of loveliveasap and the asap mob tape, not this expected (flavor of the month rappers) track..
October 19th, 2012 at 9:19 am
lol so far ive read 3 main points
1. the song is wack/ falls below expectations
2. a couple of people have the hots for miss info
3. hip-POP artists are ranked by association and buzz rather than their actual talent.
Hip-hop is dying folks. I mean 2 chainz sold more than slaughter house, i think hes sold more than nas now, point blank its almost dead. Frankly its a curse that hip-hop has, the way it can adapt to other genres and still shine is the reason we are forced to listen to wack rappers like Florida, YMCMB (that bleached girl with the stupid face and voice), Pitbull et al in clubs.
its also the reason why the moment a rapper makes it out the hood they change.
its assimilating with the stuff I hate like dance, dubstep, house and trance.
Does anyone remember the flack an artist would catch if they did anything that sounded like pop or sang like what lil wayne did??
anyway there’s loads of old music to be too concerned with all this. its a passing phase, soon hip-hop will die like disco music and we can have it back from corporate america
October 19th, 2012 at 10:00 am
it sounds like the goldy track, so fail right der, the hook is blahh and senseless, good verses tho,..
October 19th, 2012 at 10:04 am
Sorry, but the beat sounds very similiar to the GOLDY track so thats a fail regardless of whos on it, this is aightt at best, but it ain’t no single, but then again thats whats wrong with hip-hop, radio and the industry. I wonder how much payola INFO and her friends at the station get to play this kind of garbage and make it a single,…
October 19th, 2012 at 10:17 am
Take the music for what it is, a club banger for the 25 and younger crowd. I’m 30+, married with 2 kids….nothing I would listen to over and over again, but something I could bounce to on a drive somewhere.
October 19th, 2012 at 10:38 am
I think some of you over criticize music. There is now diff forms of rap/hip hop to listen to now. some music is made to just listen and nod your head to while others you can take something away from it. This song is tough for what it is. Good beat, Good flow, Good to nod your head and play it in the car. A$ap picked the right ppl to be on it and thats it. This aint a Jay-Z, Nas, RZA, Ye, Talib, Mos Def, Pusha, Fab, etc.(artists who matter insert here) track so stop judging it as such.
October 19th, 2012 at 10:44 am
How does it sound anything like Goldie? Goldie was actually reminiscent of his sound, 40 only knows how to make one sound.
October 19th, 2012 at 11:56 am
I agree with the folks that say they like the artists individually but this record to me is awful. Didn’t move me emotionally (at least not in the direction I’d hoped for), the chorus gets stale quickly (wasn’t even good to begin with) and definitely not what you’d expect coming from 40, production wise.
Lyrically, it was pretty stable and perhaps on a different beat, maybe the record sounds much better but the flip side is that this will like do well in the clubs.
