New Music: A$AP Rocky & A$AP Ferg “Take It Easy (Freestyle)”

Hot97’s Peter Rosenberg has rounded up some of the Big Apple’s best new MCs for his New York Renaissance showcase at SXSW this Thursday (Mar. 14). On April 1 he’ll partner with Ecko Unlimited to release a mixtape from his billed artists, which include Joey Bada$$ and Pro Era, Action Bronson, Flatbush Zombies, The Underachievers and, of course, A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg, who set things off with the first leak: a freestyle over Mad Lion’s ’94 classic, “Take It Easy.”

Liked ASAP Ricky’s flow on this. Some ill lines too. Ferg was ok. Guess a lot more of him is coming our way. Lol

Nahhh. Maybe it’s just me, but I expect artist to make songs I want to listen to more than 1 time. I’ll never hear this again.. Ever. Rocky got talent, but that ain’t it. There ain’t no reekwon’s in ASAP, sorry Ferg.
