I’m not crazy about promo clips and trailers, especially when they contain longer credit sequences than actual commentary….so that said, this short video of Nas and Common in the studio working on “Ghetto Dreams” (off Common’s upcoming The Dreamer The Believer album) is a bit of a tease. Here’s a summary: Nas was happy to work with Com.
But there’s something still exciting about seeing these two guys together, I imagine they probably got along great, and talked in soft voices about lots of funny memories. I have my own fond memory of giving Common a tape-cassette dub of Nas’ Illmatic many years ago, and of us raving about how great it was. Love that guy.

Great throwback photo of the two of them which is being using as the single art too….
