Don’t Push Me: 50 Cent Confronts Steve Stoute at Knicks Game (Photos)
Posted by Andy B. under Beef , Crony-ism , Photos[33] Comments

It was a pretty routine evening at MSG last night — by that I mean the Knicks lost their fifth game in a row, falling 126-103 to the Warriors. One slice of entertainment, however, came from courtside when 50 Cent appeared to confront Steve Stoute. The two have, shall we say, history (Stoute dropped Fiddy from Sony/Columbia back in 2000 following his shooting), but just this week, Stoute appeared on Hot 97 and passed a few not-so-flattering comments about Curtis Jackson:
50 hasn’t had a hit in a really long time. He has not made anything musically that has changed anything in a very really long time. I feel like he’s always gearing up for something that never happens.
You’re a brave man, Steve, we’ll give you that.
Check out another photo after the jump…

is this another PR stunt? Dear hip hop… please come back with better music. The stunts, the bullshit… it’s so played out.
I don’t give a f*ck about Steve Stoute like that, (and Freddie Foxx went hard at him on Industry Shakedown so I wouldn’t be surprised if Stoute is a lame), but what Stoute said about 50 was 100% facts.
50 hasn’t had a hit or a memorable track in a while. Personally I’m far more interested in the memorable/artistic side (I could give a f*ck about a hit) but the point is that Stoute’s correct. So what’s the point of confronting duke?
Enough already.

I saw this coming a mile away. To deny the impact fif has had on our culture is ridiculous.

Steve Stoute: in case you’re reading this —
please report 50 Cent for threatening you. He’s on probation right now… might have to pay a visit to the bad house.

LMAO! People BEEN doing that. Where do you think Fif got it from? You’re either not of the culture or just really young. Like 12 or some shit. A hit doesn’t make you influential. Vanilla Ice had hits. So did Hammer. Those dudes sold more records than Nas. Don’t think anyone would argue that they’re more important to the culture than him.
50 basically changed the way mixtapes were made. He’s the reason dudes arent’t just spitting 1000 bars over another rapper’s instrumental anymore. He made dudes make songs. He also ushered in a whole new wave of street rap. Every rapper turned into a super thug after his debut dropped.
With that being said I do think Steve Stout does have a point though.

Fiddies chain tho…
March 2nd, 2014 at 12:47 pm
conspiracy theory? what?
You’re acting like hip hop acts don’t regularly pull PR stunts to get their projects heard.
conspiracy theories are something else. If I were talking about dude being in Illuminati, and the vaccines being evil, then yeah… you can call me a nutcase.

The truth always makes people the most mad. Steve was just honest but I guess thats out of the ordinary in the music industry.
March 2nd, 2014 at 3:19 pm
its all in how you say things…the intent of it plays a part too. though hemay have been correct to a degree, but the way he says it and the reason why is much more important here. it was not from an enlightening standpoint, but from a ha,ha look at you standpoint. thats where the problem lies.

Anyone who thinks 50 is real, is a f*ckin’ clown! He hasn’t been “real” since he was a shooting victim over a decade ago.And how is being a victim of a crime a celebrated rite of gangsterism? You 50 stan’s are hilarious. He hasn’t done anything, ANYTHING, of worth since riding the initial wave of success his first album brought him. Nothing he had going is still going. from his video game (tanked), albums (mix tapes? suck), clothing (??? lol), movies (really?? lol), all have failed. Everything he has touched since has been marketed as a big deal, but has failed and paled in comparison. 50 cent is a huckster and you “realist” believe the hype.
March 2nd, 2014 at 4:05 pm
Why is it that he’s never threatening a white executive? Jimmy Iovine dumped his ass yet I don’t see him running up on him like some common miscreant. This is all PR just to have something to rail against when he books some radio spots. 50 can’t live on his own. On his own, he ain’t worth the nickel in 2 quarters pieces.
March 2nd, 2014 at 4:50 pm
a follow up interview with 50 would be great on Monday Morning!!!!
March 2nd, 2014 at 6:25 pm
Wow, Fif is really in his face. Had this been behind closed doors I bet 50 would have used his head as a bottle opener.
Sidebar: Stoute’s book was trash, it was poorly written and so repetitious, just rehashing well know Hip Hop facts. Copy and pasted from Wikipedia.
March 2nd, 2014 at 7:41 pm
He should not talk about people then can’t handle it when they confront you. I was always told that those who can’t do talk.

March 3rd, 2014 at 9:41 am
he was honestly voicing his opinion.. but sayin I feel like he’s always gearing up for something that never happens. what dos that mean? then in the same interview he gobbles up Nas Gay – Z and kanyez dicks he says (along the lines) he cant say nothing bad about jigga or kanye west because they keep him emplayed he sucked kanyes B*lls and sh*ft soo hard he actually had to clear it up by sayin “kanye has never put money in his pocket” but in the same breth he disrespects 50. NO Way is Five havin that. P.s he did say fif is gangsta and even said he got shot 9 times imagin how meny bullets missed him. but he cant show that kind of respect to ROC nation and not king 50

March 3rd, 2014 at 9:30 pm
HaHaHa “Im afraid of the future, why y’all respect the one who got shot, I respect the shooter”
Regardless of your opinions fact is 50 cent hasn’t put out a major release since 09, and even then he hasn’t done anything impactful in music or hip hop culture since long before that. Also fact the 3 artist you mentioned in you’re rant have done just the opposite. Making music people care about talk about and pay money to go see live regardless of your opinion. It’s the music business, and if your product is not making money for yourself and others very few give a shit about you’re feelings. So I respect 50 for confronting him personally but that still doesn’t change the facts that Steve Stoute was absolutely correct.

How is this a PR stunt?
They just had an argument caus they ran into each other.
Whether its the truth or not, i would be pissed too if someone said that on the radio about me.
I dont know what world yall living where public mockery on radio (even if truth) doesnt bring consequences. This is just an argument and not a brawl. How the fuck is this a pr stunt?! Smh.
