The countdown is on for Logic’s new album YSIV. The project is now four days away, releasing everywhere on Friday (Sept. 27). Before it arrives, the Maryland MC reveals the full track list. The 14-song LP includes the singles “One Day” featuring Ryan Tedder, “The Return” and “Everybody Dies.” For YSIV, Logic recruits quite the supporting cast as Wale, Jaden Smith, Big Lenbo, Hailee Steinfeld, and The Rat Pack all make guest appearances. The biggest feature of them all comes from the legendary Wu-Tang Clan, as Logic gets all nine living members on the song “Wu-Tang Forever.”

Months after signing a deal with Warner Bros. Records, Wale gives us his third project of 2018. Following It’s Complicated and Self Promotion, the D.C. native hands out some Free Lunch. A five-track EP of all new music, Free Lunch features collaborations with J. Cole (“My Boy Freestyle”) and R&B singer Eric Bellinger (“Right Here”).

Wale has a new project coming at midnight, the Free Lunch EP. The 5-track collection features guest appearance by Eric Bellinger, plus a reunion with Folarin and J. Cole. Already out in some international markets, the collaboration between Wale and Cole World is here for fans to enjoy. With sharp rhymes and wordplay, hear the two stars trade verses on “My Boy (Freestyle).”

Over the past few days, Wale has let his fans know to expect new heat to arrive on Monday (Aug. 20). Staying true to his word, the MMG lyricist drops a remix of Mahalia’s “I Wish I Missed My Ex.” Always one to open up on the subject of relationships, hear Folarin deliver some witty and relatable lyrics to the U.K. singer’s popular single. The song comes days after Wale hopped on the remix of Tamia’s “Leave It Smoking.”

Tamia is getting set to release her new album, Passion Like Fire, next month on September 7. “Leave It Smoking” is one of the singles currently in rotation to support the forthcoming project. The record now gets an upgrade, as the R&B veteran taps MMG’s Wale who adds an opening guest verse to the smooth uptempo jam. “Behind every good man is a great woman” is the message behind Wale’s new video for “Black Bonnie.” Directed by Yasha Gruben, the eye-catching clip traces Wale’s African roots to the height of the Black Panther movement while paying tribute to all the black Bonnies out there holding it down. “Black Bonnie” appears on Wale’s It’s Complicated EP, which dropped earlier this year.

Wale is in control and puts his foot down in the music video, “Negotiations.” In support of his Self Promotion EP, Folarin hits the boxing ring and grid iron, working up a sweat in the Chris Hernandez-directed visual. The MMG rapper is also seen hitting the board room, not letting shady executives trying to lock him down to an unfulfilling contract. Wale is currently working on his sixth studio album, due later this year via a newly signed deal with Warner Bros. Records.

With a new label deal signed and a fresh project out, Wale has no plans of slowing down. The MMG lyricist has remixed songs by H.E.R. and SZA in recent months. Folarin now gives fans a freestyle, this time dropping some bars over Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy standout “Bickenhead.”

After departing Atlantic Records earlier this year, Wale has found a new label home. Today the MMG rapper announced that he’s signed a new deal with Warner Bros. Records, joining a roster that includes Mac Miller, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Roy Wood$ and others.

Wale is enjoying the creative freedom of being an independent artist. The MMG rapper started a new phase in his career this year by releasing a handful of remixes, original records, and the It’s Complicated EP. Folarin follows up his recent extended play by surprising fans with a new project, Self Promotion. First announced earlier tonight by WWE broadcaster Corey Graves on Monday night’s airing of Monday Night RAW, Self Promotion is a 4-track EP that includes tracks like “Negotiations,” “Salary Keep,” “Body Body Body” and “Cassius (Excellency).”
