The Dallas artist returns with an unexpected collaboration, linking up with Pharrell on “Rich MF.” The boastful, party track features Skateboard P on the production and contributing vocas on the song’s hook.

Pharrell Williams’ inaugural Something in the Water Festival took over the shores of Virginia Beach, VA this weekend. The three-day festival got off to a bad start as the first day was cancelled due to heavy rain. The skies cleared and the sun was out strong for day two on Saturday (Apr. 27), loaded with performances by SZA, Travis Scott, A$AP Ferg, J Balvin and more. The highlight of the night came from Pharrell himself, who delivered a thrilling set of hits with some superstar friends. Diddy, Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Usher, Snoop Dogg, Charlie Wilson, Tyler, the Creator, N.E.R.D. and Busta Rhymes all make appearances. The biggest surprise of the night came towards the end of Pharrell’s set, as JAY-Z joined his long-time collaborator to perform the song “Frontin.”

A night after performing his ‘B-Sides 2’ show, the mogul/rapper joined Skateboard P for a medley of “P.S.A.,” “Izzo,” “Excuse Me Miss Again (La-La-La),” and “Give It 2 Me.” The ‘SITW’ Festival continues on Sunday (Apr. 28) with performances by Chris Brown, Anderson. Paak and The Free Nationals, Teddy Riley & Friends, Pusha T, DRAM and Jhené Aiko.

Gesaffelstein’s Hyperion album dropped in early March, boasting contributions The Weeknd, HAIM, The Hacker and Bronwyn Griffin. Pharrell Williams also appeared on the project, collaborating with the French DJ/producer on “Blast Off.” Moments after performing on Day 3 at Coachella 2019 on Sunday night (Apr. 14), Gesaffelstein debuts the video for his record with Skateboard P.

After two decades of tearing down festival stages, Pharrell has announced the launch of his own festival in his hometown of Virginia Beach. The inaugural Something in the Water festival takes place between April 26 and 28, and boasts a star-studded lineup that includes Travis Scott, Missy Elliott, Lil Uzi Vert, SZA, Migos, Pusha T, Anderson .Paak, Janelle Monáe, DRAM, Jaden Smith and Kaytranada, as well as Skateboard P himself.

Gesaffelstein started the new year off connecting with previous collaborator The Weeknd on “Lost in the Fire.” Ahead of his new album Hyperion due March 8, the French DJ/producer returns with “Blast Off.” The breezy, mid-tempo pairs Gesaffelstein with Pharrell Williams, who adds his beautiful vocals to the mix. While Essence Fest was launched back in ’95 to commemorate 25 years of Essence magazine, things are coming full circle in 2019 as Essence Fest is celebrating its own 25th anniversary. Making sure its a party to remember, Nas, Pharrell, Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, H.E.R., Timbaland, Anthony Hamilton, Teyana Taylor, Jermaine Dupri, Musiq Soulchild and more will all be hitting the mainstage.

Meanwhile, the superlounges will feature performances from legends and newcomers alike including Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Ma$e, Ginuwine, City Girls, Jacquees, Scarface, Biz Markie, Elle Varner and Normani. The 2019 Essence Fest takes place in New Orleans between July 4 and 7. Get your tickets here.

Creed II: The Album, the motion picture soundtrack curated and executive produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, is coming soon. The hitmaking Atlanta producer revealed the project’s track list on Monday (Nov. 12), featuring an all-star cast that includes Lil’ Wayne, Nas, Nicki Minaj, Bon Iver, J. Cole, 2 Chainz, Rae Sremmurd, Vince Staples, Rick Ross and more. Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell Williams also contribute to the LP, connecting on a song called “The Mantra.” Music lovers can now enjoy the record, which is slowly rolling out to all streaming services and iTunes. Skateboard P’s vocals carries most of the track as Kung Fu Kenny comes through with a sharp guest verse towards the end.

Starring Michael B. Jordan and directed by Black Panther‘s Ryan Coogler, Creed II arrives in theatres on November 21.

After collaborating on her worldwide smash “Havana,” Pharrell and Camila Cabello join forces once again for this new song, “Sangria Wine.” Debuted on stage in Vancouver last month at the opening of Cabello’s new tour, “Sangria Wine” is a fun, fruity cocktail that everybody’s about to be sipping on this summer.

N.O.R.E. and Pharrell’s “Uno Más” single came out last summer, and recently got upgraded with a remix. Miguel, Wiz Khalifa and singer J Alvarez all appeared on the new version that dropped in March, and now Noreaga comes with a music video. Directed by Jason Goldwatch, the visual pays homage to Robert Palmer’s “Addicted To Love” classic, as N.O.R.E. and Skateboard P get their dance on in front of a beach backdrop.

Rae Sremmurd’s upcoming triple album consists of a group project (SRE3MM), plus Swae Lee (Swaecation) and Slim Jxmmi (Jxmtroduction) solo LPs. Just last week, Mike WiLL Made-It revealed the lofty release will include collaborations with The Weeknd, Future, Young Thug, Travis Scott, and Zoë Kravitz. Pharrell Williams is another heavyweight that contributes to the album, appearing on the mellow yet hard-hitting “Chanel.” Lead by Slim Jxmmi, the track will be available everywhere at midnight.
