Ol’ Blue Brown Eyes is back as Vado drops the third installment in his Sinatra series. The follow-up to last year’s Sinatra 2, the Harlem rapper’s new mixtape punches in at 10 songs, which include collaborations with Dave East, Fred The Godson and Nino Man, and freestyles over Dipset’s “Diplomatic Immunity,” Drake’s “Nice For What” and Young M.A’s “Walk.”

After dropping a trifecta of tracks including “Blue Hundreds,” “God Bless The Summer” and “Da Hated” over the last couple of weeks, Vado and Dave East keep their collaborative streak going by giving Drake’s latest chart-topping single, “Nice For What,” a Harlem-flavored makeover. The days of any and every rapper remixing the current hot record may be over (thankfully!), but something tells me Vado and Dave have more where this came from.

vado

Are you ready for a double dose of Vado before the weekend hits? The Harlem rapper has released two videos for fans, with the first being “Used To Luv” with Ron Browz and second being “V.A.D.O.” Both videos are from his Sinatra 2 project, but on very different vibes. The first is on the shorty tip, as he raps about a shorty he used to rock with. The latter takes it back to that soulful rap ish. You know, that real Harlem World music.

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Vado (last year’s “We Da Wave” collaboration with Cam’ron and Jeremih, to be exact), but the Harlem rapper is back in the cut with the release of his new mixtape, Sinatra 2. Serving as the sequel to 2014’s Sinatra EP, the 13-song set features appearances from the likes of Lloyd Banks, Ron Browz and Phresher. Slime is always good for those gritty street cuts, but whether this tape is enough to move him up the We The Best pecking order remains to be seen.
