Rick Ross is in full campaign mode for his forthcoming new album, Port of Miami II, due later this year. Over the past two weeks, the MMG CEO dropped the single “Act a Fool” with Wale and returned shortly after with a freestyle over ScHoolboy Q’s “Numb Numb Juice.” Renzel keeps the records coming, returned with a heater called “BIG TYME.” With Swizz Beatz providing the intro and ad-libs, Ross gets busy over the glorious production of Just Blaze.

After teasing us with a freestyle and reunion with Drake, Rick Ross is ready to launch the campaign for Port of Miami 2. On Thursday (Jun. 20), the MMG CEO announced the project is still on the way with a message to his fans. “God is the greatest. Port of Miami started me on this journey,” said Rozay. “It’s only right I bring it back to where it all started. For my day ones to the new ones, this album is for you. Tenth studio album. Get ready. Ride with me. It’s time.”

Rick Ross gets things started with a new single titled “Act a Fool.” Renzel keeps it in house on the fast paced record, as his labelmate Wale joins the fun with a guest verse. Hear “Act a Fool” below.

In celebration of the Toronto Raptors winning their first-ever NBA Championship, Drake comes with two new tracks. First announced moments after his hometown team clinched the title over the Golden State Warriors, the 6 God releases “Omertà” and “Money In the Grave.” While the Canadian superstar keeps it solo on the first record, its follow-up is a long-awaited reunion with MMG head honcho Rick Ross. Two years have passed since the release of Rick Ross’ last studio album, Rather You Than Me. During that time, the MMG CEO/rapper/entrepreneur has been working on his health, various business ventures, and an upcoming memoir. Rozay is also prepping to drop his 10th solo album, Port of Miami 2: Born to Kill. As fans eagerly await for details and a release date for that project, Renzel drops a freestyle. After more than two decades of writing rhymes, Rick Ross is penning a memoir. The book is called Hurricanes, which he says is a symbol of “surviving the storms of life” (and, of course, a nod to his native Florida’s notorious weather).

Rick Ross and rap duo Smif N Wessun first collaborated last year on the 9th Wonder-produced “Capone Suite,” a bonus track off the Superfly soundtrack. The roles are now reversed, as the MMG boss lends a guest verse on the song “Let Me Tell Ya.” The record appears on Smif N Wessun’s new album, The All, produced entirely by 9th Wonder and The Soul Council.

Dave East and Rick Ross joined forces on the song “Fresh Prince of Belaire,” a record the two Def Jam labelmates dropped earlier this month. The Harlem spitter and MMG’s biggest boss now return with a vibrant visual, where they party hard sipping on Belaire while also paying tribute to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air sitcom classic. Def Jam labelmates Dave East and Rick Ross join forces on the song “Fresh Prince of Belaire.” The new record is a play on the classic sitcom starring Will Smith and the French wine company Luc Belaire, which Ross is sponsored by and East recently became an ambassador for. Another interesting note is the song’s release under Dave East’s new label FTD Records. Two months ago, the Harlem MC announced Long Beach’s own Joey Fatts as the first signee to the label.
