Young Money just got, well, younger. In an interview with Rap-Up at Cash Money’s Pre-Grammys Party, President Mack Maine made a surprise announcement that the label has signed Lil Wayne’s 14-year-old daughter, Reginae Carter. Mack had high praise for their teenage signee, calling her a “megastar” and said that we should “expect greatness.” Reginae was previously part of the girl group OMG Girlz, who saw viral success with their 2012 pop-rap track, “Gucci This (Gucci That).” If you remember, she was also seen rapping in the 2009 Lil Wayne documentary, The Carter.
Wayne’s daughter, Reginae, is actually signed to Young Money now,” he said. “Just expect greatness. She’s Toya [Wright's] daughter and Wayne’s daughter, so that’s a great combination. She’s a star, put it like that. A megastar.
During the interview, Mack Maine also spoke on Young Money’s other new additions, which include PJ Morton (who has a single with Stevie Wonder coming soon), Torion Sellers and We the Future.
