Young Jeezy Brings out Jay-Z and Kanye West At His TM101 Anniversary Show

Since last week, there was buzz about Young Jeezy’s big TM101 6-year anniversary concert in New York City. Rap bloggers and journos began filling their timelines with Jeezy quotables and idle claims of their “thugness,” based purely on the hope that they, too, would live a hustler’s life like Jeezy, even if it was just for a few hours. Not quite for most, but it was all worth it last night. After making us wait till after 11, things kicked into over-drive pretty fast.
Cue song 2: “Go Crazy (Remix)” and Hov was already making a cameo. His mic started way low, but a guest appearance from Jay is.. well a guest appearance from Jay. But things kept getting better, Kanye was up next and peeked his head out to spit his verse from “Put On,” Bun B, Fabolous and the entire LOX also came out during the night. But energy level wise, Jada, Sheek and Styles were really the only other ones to take things to the next level
Oh yea, TM103 is coming on Sept. 20th, Jeezy said.

man, that band is NOT the business.
should’ve just had DJ DRAMA up there doing what he does best, pressing play and talking shit. plus it would’ve recalled the epicness of that first TRAP OR DIE mixtape.
still, would’ve loved to have been there. TM101 is one of my personal faves.

I agree with prince for some reason the band is drowning out jeezy’s voice or maybe its the choice of venue as well its swallowing his voice. Never the less the concert looked amazing. Sometimes a DJ spinning in background will do, in this case would have been better option.

They might start to ban people from recording performances. I don’t blame the performers for asking for a ban. I just hope they don’t get out of hand and start banning people for taking pictures of the act they came to see.
