Days after speaking at the funeral for his late friend Nipsey Hussle, YG took the stage at Coachella 2019 on Sunday night (Apr. 14). Taking to the Sahara Tent on Day 3, the Compton rapper performed with a heavy heart, dedicating the set to his frequent collaborator. Tributes to Nipsey Hussle were played throughout YG’s 54-minute set, including the opening and a moment of silence. Along with running through a ever growing catalogue of hits, YG announced his new album is set to drop on May and debuted a new track called “Stop Snitching.”

The on-stage party and celebration which YG renamed Boachella, also came with some surprises. Tyga was the first guest of the night, appearing for “Bit**es Ain’t Sh*t” and his own smash-hit “Taste.” For the finale, YG closed out a rocking show with his DJ Mustard-produced banger “Big Bank,” with Mustard, 2 Chainz and Big Sean all hopping on stage to deliver their verses.
