YG made his Coachella debut, performing at the iconic music festival on Sunday night (Apr. 14). The electric set was nearly one-hour long, dedicated to the rapper’s late west coast friend and collaborator, Nipsey Hussle. During his show at the Sahara Tent, YG announced his upcoming new album will drop on May 3. Originally, the untitled project was set to drop on April 12th but was put on hold due to the death of Nipsey Hussle. After revealing the date, YG debuted a new record entitled “Stop Snitching.” The moment was entertaining to viewers as an image of Tekashi 69 was flashed as the song played, referring to the rapper’s demise and recent legal issues.
