XXXTentacion is ending his newly formed relationship with Capitol Music Group. The Florida rapper, who signed a reported $6 million deal with the label, is now terminating his record deal. “Terminating my deal with ‘capitol records,’” said XXXTentacion on Instagram Stories. “I am not a ‘signed’ artist and I will not be releasing music for a very long time, I’m tired of this shit.”

There’s no additional details as to why the controversial artist has backed out. Earlier this month, Billboard reported the controversial rapper inked a multi-million dollar album deal with the label. His 17 debut album released back in August, landing at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

Born Jahseh Onfroy, the 19-year-old is facing aggravated battery, assault, false imprisonment and witness tampering charges stemming from an incident with his at-the-time pregnant girlfriend in 2016. A trial is set to begin on that case on December 11.
