Wiz Khalifa made his lead role debut last year, co-starring alongside Snoop Dogg in the comical stoner flick, Mac & Devin Go to High School, but it sounds like we might be seeing Wiz behind the camera with an other famous rapper: 50 Cent. Sitting down with Hard Knock TV, the Taylor Gang chief revealed plans to shoot a movie with Fif this year—and it’s a project he says he’s “definitely taking serious.”
In the interview, Wiz also spoke on his relationship with NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, not charging rappers he’s cool with (Joe Budden and Curren$y, you’re safe), wanting to get some of that Molly money (but not contributing his own solo song to the drug craze), and listed some of the eclectic artists he’s currently bumping.
We made a song together and I was like, “Let’s do a movie!” And that’s basically how me and Snoop did our situation: we chilled and we was like, “Let’s do a movie!” So I was like, “Let’s do a movie!” And was like, “Yeah, let’s do a movie! We can get this person involved, we can get that person involved.” So just through time I think we’ll put it together and make it work, but it’s something that I’m definitely taking serious as a project for this year.
