(Plaza Santa Ana: this is around midnight. On the right corner, a group of men are drinking open bottles of wine and smoking. On the left there is a playground, that was packed with kids and parents. All around the perimeter…tapas bars.)
Info: I was telling Mikey n Legend about how I’m exploring the tapas x bar scene is here in Madrid. And Mikey (always thinking) said I should post some pics to break up the monotony of rappity rapping, and rapper talkity talking.
(lots of people eating, beautiful old-world decoration….dinnertime starts at 9pm, and people are in the streets ’til 4-5am. Maybe that’s why Madridians take a break in the middle of the day. Stores shut down from around 2pm-5pm.)
(In life, where goes ham, I follow: inside and on that bar is a leg of Iberian ham. Jamon Iberico. The bartender is slicing it like tissue. I will eat alot of that this week.)

Beautiful pics Info…..Question….Do you think New York City has necessarily benefited directly from the outlawing of public open alcoholic beverages?? It doesn’t seem to be an issue anywhere else….It’s funny b/c whenever I travel abroad, it takes a minute to shake the habit of “not” drinking in public, then I realize how silly the law is. I’m actually happy I grew up in the days where you could drink in public. If you ran across 1 time, just threw the top on your shit, showed that respect and kept it pushing.

NYC needs those outdoor urinals like in Amsterdam. I remember how the streets smelled like piss (Time Square) in the 80s, some places still do (around Herald Square).

I live in Warsaw, Poland, and we have here the same law- if you drink alcohol (including beer) in public places you get a ticket. Actually even having an opend bottle or can can get you a ticket. It is supposed to protect the beauty of the city and upgrade safeness- coz drunk people tend to be agressive.
@missinfo – it’s nice to see you in europe baby! you’re invited to Poland- we have a strong rap scene here and beautifull places to see!
