Weezer was one of my favorite bands in the mid 90s. I had an older cousin who always had their albums in rotation, so I was really forced to listen to them — if you want to be real about it. But I still love their tunes regardless, and they’re no strangers to rap. The rockers appropriately worked with Weezy in the past.

This “Trap Queen” cover by Weezers’ lead singer, Rivers Cuomo, is awesome, though. Maybe we’ll even get another rap collaboration on their forthcoming self titled LP — slated for release on 4/1.
