Ever since they patched things up at OVO Fest last year, it’s been nothing but love between Kanye West and Drake. Serving as the last-minute replacement after Drizzy fell ill, Ye paid a little tribute to the Toronto rapper during his second headlining set at London’s Wireless Festival on Saturday night by playing “Trophies,” “We Made It” and “All Me.” “My homeboy Drake can’t be here but we still gotta rep for him tonight,” Kanye said to the crowd. In return, Drake showed his appreciation by sharing a note on Instagram. Long live the idols, may they never be your rivals, indeed.

Man I appreciate Kanye playing Trophies at Wireless so much. I want to be at all the shows more than anything in the world right now. I just keep watching the video over and over. Slow motion for me right now but I promise all the fans an incredible experience as soon as I am back. I am so sorry once again I love you all dearly. Thank you Ye for giving me that joy tonight.

In other news, Kanye reportedly played a ton of new music at a private party at London’s Cafe Royal Hotel over the weekend. According to one person in attendance, Mr. West spun up to 20 new songs, which sound “dark,” “hellish” and “groundshaking.” Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like anyone managed to sneak footage, but does this mean Yeezy season is approaching — again?
