For those that missed the bus, Eminem’s Shady Films has recently launched a new sneakerhead-friendly show called Detroit Rubber. The six-part series follows the antics of Rick Williams and Roland “Ro” Coit, owners of the Burn Rubber sneaker store in Detroit, as they look to grow their company while catering to their famous clientele (including Prince Fielder of the Detroit Tigers, who we saw in the premiere episode).
In episode number two, “Party in the D,” hilarity ensues when Rick and Ro leave their youngest employee, Devin, in charge of the shop, but set up Big Sean’s DJ, Mo Beatz, to steal some gear to see how he deals with the situation. They also task their two other employees with putting up a shelf, but as it turns out, that’s easier said than done. Come closing time, though, the crew hit up a house party in downtown Detroit to let off some steam (and maybe get a little freaky with a female or two).
