Icons in their respective fields, Nas and Dave Grohl sat-down for the latest Grammy-special episode of Chelsea Lately. The Foo Fighters frontman played host, and interviewed the Queensbridge rapper about his Grammy nominations and how he feels hip-hop is represented at the prestigious awards show, how hip-hop beefs work, winning an Emmy for his work on Survival 1, the ESPN documentary about amputee soccer players in Liberia, and his Life Is Good song, “Daughters.”

Wow…it is truly hard to belive that Nasir is 39 years old and soon to be 40 (the man still looks in his mid 20′s). Nas’ career is truly one to admire, he has been going strong for damn near 21 years and his music continues to be classic/timeless. Nas has truly put his God given talents to good use, he has remained humbled and he is a true inspiration to hop hop. I will be tuned in on Sunday to watch Nas win his first GRAMMY(s)!

Def jam has Nas working hard doing these media rounds for that Grammy push. Life is Good was a great album though. I hope he gets the award.
