You gotta respect Chamillionaire’s artistry and appreciation for hip-hop. Over the last few years, he got caught up in label politics with Universal and stepped away from the spotlight to get his business in order. Apparently, he was under constant pressure to keep recreate “Ridin’ Dirty” over and over again because it was a such a pop hit, but he just wanted to make music that was true to his heart. It’s a common situation for rappers, but most end up giving in and making some bullsh*t music. Not Cham. “I have decided to release a visual for the fans that have been patiently waiting for me to finish my Poison album. I know it has been a while since the last release, but just know that the wait will be more than worth it. This is a stand alone song/visual that it isn’t on the album or any project, but I hope you enjoy this first offering.”
