Future Freestyles Over a New TNGHT Beat (Lunice and Hudson Mohawke)
Posted by Mikey Fresh under videos[3] Comments
Leave it to Pitchfork to bring together the ultimate hipster/hood collaboration. For the newest webisode of their selector series, they paired Future with producers Lunice and Hudson Mohawke aka TNGHT. If you remember, Kanye made a surprise appearance at their NYC show in December. After discussing their creative processes and upcoming projects, the cameras caught Future going off the top over a beat they made especially for him.

shouts to Info – “Hey Baby”
Yo,
In my opinion he picked the best beat; the beat was straight – the beat’s not gonna ever be a Top 25 hit or nuttin like that, but it was straight.
The freestyle was fresh … and that’s really all [I'm] askin for.
Here’s a miscellaneous thought: Future’s kind of a hybrid artist (he’s in “this” lane, and a little bit in “that” lane). Didn’t buy the album – won’t buy the album; I like my Gangster Rap a little bit more hardcore, and consistently in one lane.
No peace, My Niggas.
I’m out.
