Warning: If you try to lil’mama Donnis onstage, you will get dropped : )

This CMJ week was crazy (not always in a good way; ). But for alot of the new artists who respect the grind, it was a great opportunity. For example, Donnis was everywhere (as was Pill)….and on Saturday night, he joined my boy Jesse Lee/Dub Frequency’s Creme de la Creme showcase at BLVD, along with Curt@!n$, He Say She Say, Hollywood Holt, Mickey Factz, Rob Roy, Trackademicks and more…
But during Donnis’ set (around the 2:35 mark), watch this drunk jackass stroll on stage! The nerve!! This Lil’ Papa clown actually swings on Donnis’ manager Stadium Dan….and then he gets dropped by Donnis, who spent a few years in the military. Bing bong.
The moral of this story is…well, its obvious. But in the video after the jump, I love how Donnis goes on with his show, with his adrenaline turned up to 11.
Another view after the jump…

Geez, after reading all the tweet reports about this show I’ve should of went to this show right after Red Bull Space which got shut down by cops may I add, and this video surfaces. Great job on the video crews that captured the angles of this fight.
People just dont learn. Dont interrupt the artist’s set, and good 4 homeboy who got knocked the fucked out by Donnis & his management team. Gotta protect the artist, and great job for donnis 4 hitting the stage after incident. Great performer.
Peace

I like how he didnt catch the assault with a weapon charge and refrained from hitting him with the mic…if he hadn’t this post would have been a lil bit different and with a definite follow-up.

hmm, that’s an interesting thought. But yeah I think he handled it right. You notice Donnis didn’t even step in until he say the guy hit his manager.

Maybe you had to be there, but all I see on either video is the rapper rushing him and then chaos. In the second video you realize it’s because he hit his man. Two seconds later the dude is getting dragged off yelling, looking very un-knocked out.

Fair play i say, guy gettin in the way of makin money, tho as they say no press is bad press….if I was more paranoid i might even say publicity stunt

On some real shit this looks staged; looks at how dude get on the stage tap the artist on the shoulder and not turn around and the artist saying “ooooooooo”, “booooooy”. I think this is a publicity stunt, I have never heard of this dude a day in my life until today. He yelling Tennessee and Alabama and I lived in both states Memphis and Mobile and have never heard of this dude, because real dudes where I’m from don’t where skinny jeans and say “OOOOOOOOOOO”, “BOOOOOOOOOY” befor they hit you. I’m not hating just telling the truth about the places he was naming. STAGED
