Listen up Umurica, from Europe the cradle of civilization, a thing that very few of you there have, know about and can grasp.
I’ve noticed that drama is something highly priced and very well respected.
I’ve noticed that hip-hop is often taken on a scale to weight whether something’s real or fake.
It’s like a neverending debate. Is something real or fake.
That being said, it brings down hip-hop from once a highly respected urban movement to todays wack and watered down day job.
We will never have a album that will be worth listening to 6 months after it’s released, songs get old in 2 week time, and generally, ironically and sadly, hip-hop is on a way to kill itself.
That being said, looking at this once highly popular now only sorry grown ass man named 50 Cent (which is, if I’m familiar with Google, another real persons street name that he jacked) makes me think…
Why do you get excited over this so much?
And then – I realize it.
Everyone involved in this, from this website, to radio, Flex, anyone who will speak about it…you are all enjoying this. And subliminally hoping something escalates.

let me start off by saying im a fan of HIP HOP, fuck where your from. My Baby Daddy is one of the dudes in the BOOBIE BOYS who is currently serving 30yrs in federal prison. My child will be 40yrs old before she can really be able to see her father other than visiting him at a penitentiary.

Boobie who is Kenneth Williams who Ross mentions on songs and the documentary MIAYO was never down with Ross like that. All of the niggas that was truly down with the Boobie BOYS are currently incarcerated. Rick Ross went to Miami Carol City High School with some of the dudes associated with the Boobie BOYS but was never a member or a worker. when Boobie went to Prison B4 getting a life sentence in the feds saw Ross at South Florida Receptional Center where Ross was a correctional officer. boobie remembered Ross from the hood and thought it was a way to be locked in while prison for beneficial ways.
Ross I love your music but truth be told was raised by two school teachers and was never in the streets. I told chris larceny director and producer off the film when they asked me to be a part of the film that I couldn’t participate in nothing but the truth.

Can someone answer me this? Back when “Hustlin” came out at the end of ‘05 and then spring of ‘06, we were all infatuated with this guy and this story, but very few questioned the authenticity. In my opinion, while I figured much of this guy’s life that he describes on wax is exaggerated, if Ross was flat out lying, I figured someone in the streets would have taken care of it. It is Miami after all. Was he a real CO? I believe it, which makes all the fans look likes chumps for buying into it. 50 is a bully. He said he does this for fun. So it should be funny. But I think 50 really doesn’t like the fact that Ross has betrayed everyone, and for that he’s going in. And Ross> in interviews, you need to answer the question and be more specific. Yelling, “I’m the boss” is fine on wax, but not when in an interview. Ugh! I’d like to hear the diss records from both camps, but I think a book would be good too.

You know when you get really pissed about something or at someone and you think of all the ways you’d love to get back at them, but you don’t have the resources, finances, or just balls to do so. The reality of it all is this “BEEF” is it’s a by-product of a dismal industry. When you’re sales are in the slump somebody’s got to play the chump. Both of these dudes are trying to draw attention to themselves to sell records. Rick is going to be out classed because he’s undercaptialized. 50 has long cash and he can buy out Rick’s neighborhood, his momma’s house, their mortgage company’s holding company and then some. Rick Ross is going to be Rick Loss in a minute. Big bank will eat little bank. And Ms. Tia will just have a broken, angry baby daddy to show for it. Hope she pawned that coat. She should’ve thought ahead. You can have beef with someone, but you don’t destroy their livelihood when it will ultimately affect your bottom line. Rick Ross’s image seems so contrived–the excessive jewerly, the mannerisms, the shades, the sweat suits, the many tats. He seems like he crafted his look from movie depictions of gangsters. I’m glad 50 has pulled up his skirt and is probably getting money out of it (i.e. Tia’s upcoming book). 50 Cent may not be the best rapper but he may have one of the brightest business minds in the game.
