War Games: 50 Cent brings Rick Ross’ ex, Tia Kemp and her kids to Floyd Mayweather’s house (Updated: Video)

On the eve of his album release, 50 Cent went to Las Vegas to screen his movie BISD at the Core DJs Retreat. He also flew in his signed author aka Rick Ross’ contentious ex-girlfriend aka Tia Kemp, along with her 3 children (including her youngest son, whose father is Rick Ross).
Along with going to the big Pacquiao vs Cotto fight (sheesh, Pacman was a beast)….50 and the Kemps went to visit 50’s pal Floyd Mayweather…who coincidentally has been beefing online with Tia’s youngest son’s father, Rick Ross. (Rick Ross/Triple C’s “Go”…and Mayweather/Freeway Rick Ross)
hmm. So…on one side of the debate: 50’s machiavellian (not makaveli-an) photo-op is diabolical and shameless. And Tia’s complicity won’t get her profiled in Redbook anytime soon.
Then on the other side: Its been proven in court that Rick Ross has not fulfilled his legal responsibility to his son with Kemp. And that’s just a financial measure of fatherhood, not even all the emotional and physical support a child needs. So, with that in mind….is this trip to a new and exciting city with your mom and older brothers, visiting a famous athlete’s beautiful home and hanging out with him, meeting big stars…how can you say that this little boy (who has suffered health problems) shouldn’t have that experience? Can his joy be separated from the irony or the motivation?
UPDATE: According to reader Grand, 50 Cent told the Russ Parr radio show that Floyd Mayweather is the one who flew him and Tia and the kids out to Las Vegas. Ah haa….so perhaps it was all Floyd’s idea? Also, he would have all the tickets to the boxing match. But I’d imagine both him and 50 cooked up the part about bringing Tia.
UPDATE 2: After the jump, I added the video footage of the Floyd Mayweather house party, including when Diddy and director F.Gary Gray join the gathering. Again, those kids look like they’re having a ball. One of my friends said he disapproved because later in life, Lil’ Ross would resent his mom for doing all this. I don’t know…

I guess you forget that this is what happens in beef. Hip hop is not just about lyrics. Presentation is key. ref: Jay z putting prodigy on the Summer Jam screen. Ti pulling up flip in the leprechaun suit, Cam getting Jimmie Walker to play Jay z, and the whole Dre day video. It is to get under Ross’s skin and hit his pride a little bit to break that “Boss” like persona he wants people to see. If he was a boss his personal affairs wouldn’t be so easy to spot as character flaws. Tell him to be a man and take care of his son, then that will make this a non-issue.

I guess you forgot the difference between hip-hop and the WWF. Like you, 50 also claims that kind of beefing as part of hip-hop’s “competition.” But, it’s not rooted in hip-hop at all. It’s rooted in new media and manipulation of images. Real hip-hop competion was and is lyrical beef and battling with rap skills: Kool Moe Dee vs Busy Bee, KRS-1/BDP vs MC SHAN/Juice Crew, Moe Dee vs LL, Jay-Z vs Nas– were all about battling w/ lyrics…not blowing up photos, youtube videos/rants, bribing your enemies family or dangling his supposed gold chain. I actually think Jay-Z took it too far by bringing in Nas’ baby moms, which he later apologized for. All that turns hip-hop into the WWF, which is entertaining for fans… but isn’t hip-hop.

Mayweather is the cashcow last fight generated $52 Mil.Pacman walked away with 65% of PPV this fight. Mayweather is undefeated so this ain’t a 50-50 fight 60/40 coz Pacman’s on top right now, they both want to retire so he’s people ain’t walking away with the smaller share. If we were ancient times, 50 would probably be some sort of legendary warlord. He’s brilliant when it comes to these dirty tactics. But I agree, the kid probably had fun. Isn’t it sad that his dad’s rival is treating him better then his actual dad(If we’re to go along with the context of the post)?
Oh, and while the big fight is still fresh, it was horrible to see Cotto go out like that. He’s such a great fighter, but this will haunt him forever. It’s never good to see great guys get pummeled. Manny is an otherworldy talent.

Im pretty sure she’s getting paid for the time she’s spending with 50, and the fact that she’s been fighting Rick in court for years now for child support is sad..the fact that he had her car removed (a car he bought for her) from the court house while they were in mediation about him to finally pay child support. Im sorry I have no sympathy for him. He made his bed and now he must lie in it cause at the end of the day she’s a scorned woman and she’s doing what she gotta do to take care of hers AND stick it to her ex. It’s her life and she can live it how she wants. Mz Brittany I get that you are Anti 50. I read some of your post when I read the articles. If I’m not mistaken you like Cam’ron. My apology if I’m wrong.
I believe that you are missing the big point here. William Roberts’ biggest dilemma was feuding with the mother of his children and allowing it to become public while making 50 cent a foe. He should have kept this man’s name out of his mouth. He was obviously not prepared and did not think his plan through.
Because of 50 (for whatever reason) these children are meeting some of the stars they would only have seen on tv and going places (Las Vegas & NY) they would have never been before Mr. Roberts played dead beat. So if anything, applaud Tia for making lemonade out of lemons and providing for not one but all of her children without any noticeable talent whatsoever. She hustled like her Baby’s father claims he does. Now her children when they do look back on it will possibly see it from a skybox seat or a four year school that was paid for by their mother’s sacrifice.

I am surprised you are taking this position by giving the mother a break. No matter how much Rick Ross has fell short as a father (or even the fact that the kid has health problems), doesn’t minimize her culpability for letting her son be used as a ploy in an attempt to humiliate the father. Not to mention the fact that this kind of scheme can plausibly lead to some kind of violent response down the road. Messing with someone’s kids is too much. Furthermore, when the son is old enough to realize that his mother used him in this way, I can’t think he will be happy for being willfully exploited (especially for money).

The bottom line is if Ross had taken care of his son like he was suppose to and not make her have to take him to court to force the judge to make him do what was right, this situation would not have happened. I can care less about that, music is an art and the quality of art can’t be judged by it’s sales. You wanna say 50’s a good business man well fine that goes without saying he’s sold alot of records in a releatively short time. Jay-Z is equally as successful but over a long period of time it’s all preference I guess you can be impressed with LaDainian Tomlinson who was great for a few years and fell off bad me I’ll take Emmit Smith who was great every year for more than decade but that’s not my main point. My point is when 50-cent is long dead if he’s remembered at all it def won’t be because of his music, it won’t be because he sold alot of records either, shit Nelly also sold a ton of records in the past but that doesn’t make him an impactful artist. It will more likely be for 1 good album 2 more trash and a 4th so so. A career riddled with false drummed up controversy in an attempt to build interest in his other wise lack luster product causing divisions in hip-hop along the way. A boutique label G unit records part of interscope records that also perpetuated this same lack of quality to there music. 50 cent seems like a shitty person as evident by this story and many many others that’s my opinion. Would you like her better if she were working one or more bullshit jobs, living check to check, with a babydaddy who isn’t doing his part and took away her only means of transportation? Tia is doing what she believes is best for her and her kids, and the consequences of her choices are her burden and her business. Whatever the impact is on the children, that’s between her and the children. No one’s childhood is perfect; no one’s parents are perfect. We can all sit here and dissect a particular moment in time and say she’s wrong, but, again, are you putting food on that family’s table? No! Besides, what is she doing (so far) that is so horrible, anyway? She wrote a book and took some pictures where she was scantily-clad. Now she is taking pictures with the kids as she does something fun for them. So what? There are mothers out there doing far worse. Exhibit A: Ross’ other babymama is a call girl. Exhibit B: One word: Superhead. Exhibit C: Octomom. I bet you can think of a few more if you put your mind to it. As far as I’m concerned, she’s doing great. She wrote a book without sucking a thousand dicks first. Applaud her. Assuming that the choice is between hustling with 50 and letting her kids starve, what would “damage” these kids more? Does she wrestle with this, or is it a no-brainer? We don’t know, so the rush to judgement is unfair. Secondly, why is it that virtually nobody is calling out Rick Ross on this? Leaving aside his fraudulent persona and what have you, why is no one seemingly as angry that he is not supporting his child financially or emotionally, as they are with 50 and Tia? Does it not occur to anyone that Tia wouldn’t care to do or have to do these things if Ross had handled his responsibilities in the first place? Why does he continue to neglect his child? At this point, everyone sees him for what he is; either they care or they don’t. Why is he allowed to run around with seemingly no visible backlash when his household is in disarray? This brings me to my final point: Why is it that nobody these days seems to understand the concept of consequences? I was always taught that “you have to sleep in the bed you make.” If you antagonize someone like 50, with his history; if you lie to your fans and the public; if you neglect your children, then you get what you get. Deal with it.

shoot!!!!! if thats the case , maybe we all need to revisit scarface and see if the father of those children were in their lives or paying child support, cause if not… he shouldve blown up the damn car!!!!!!
