War and Peace at the BET Hip-Hop Awards: Starring Rick Ross, Jeezy, 50 Cent and Fat Joe
Posted by Mikey Fresh under beef[14] Comments
Unfortunately, things got ugly at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards. Even with the vibe being about positivity, mostly because of the much talked about Chris Lighty tribute where 50 and Fat Joe appeared together onstage, there was an altercation between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy. Multiple sources including DJ Drama and MTV have confirmed that both rappers got into a scuffle backstage. Rival crews passed each other and words were exchanged between security teams and entourages, which lead to mayhem. DJ Drama gave a breakdown what he witnessed and says both parties walked away “unscathed.”
According to our sources, Ross and Jeezy exchanged words backstage and started pushing and shoving each other. We’re told BET security and bodyguards for each of the rappers eventually separated the two. Our sources on the scene say that after the fight had been broken up, a member of Rick Ross’ entourage pulled out a gun while in the parking lot and shots were fired. It is unclear if the man was arrested. – via TMZ
Sources also say Gunplay and Tony Yayo were also involved in an altercation.
Listen to Drama’s breakdown and check out a pic of 50 and Joe onstage together after the jump…

Maybe “GunPlay” should start to play with guns. Obviously fighting isn’t his thing. He’s taken 2 L’s just from G Unit alone.
Bring pimpin curly back!

Niggardy permeates hip hop! The game is completely wack. I read a quote recently that’s so very true. “Young people today suffer because of the insidious influence of a toxic pop culture that glorifies self-destructive behavior.” Hip hop is definitely doing its part. Booiiii, “The Man’s” master plan was brilliant. Setting up a system where “nigras” will forever hate themselves and play a role in their own destruction. Brilliant! Niggardry is as toxic as blatant racism today.
