Ballerstatus broke the story today that Ralphige, the prank-phone-call-guy who’s duped Jay-Z, Paris Hilton and more , is taking credit for that bribe-offer that Rick Ross referred to in a video (click to view).
Ballerstatus reports:
“According to Ralphige, the Miami rapper was agressive from the second he said he was from G-Unit. Although he told the him he’d receive a nice payday if he would back down in the beef, Ross laughed it off and declined.
“[Rick Ross] got excited as f***. He didn’t except, which is one thing I respect. He’s like ‘Nah, nah. F*** that. I’mma keep doing me. I’mma keep doing me.’ … I told him 50 doesn’t want it with you no more, he feels like you’re one person who gave him a challenge, he respects you, he likes you’re music, and he wants you to back down. He was like ‘Nah, I ain’t backing down.’”

the only reason, i believe, he declined the FAKE bribe was because the ralphige guy was pumping it up saying “fif doesn’t want any part of you, blah blah” (B.S we all know) and as ralphige was saying, the cop was getting really excited when he heard that. So the cop ran to media thinking “LOOKING MA I WON!!!” only to look like a fool again. So yeah he does look like a fool, but just not as much of a blatant lying fool as before.

@ Missinfo, Ross gets no points for 1) Believing 50 cent would back down- Period! -let along back down from Rick Ross! 2) Knowing 50 cent, his history, his aggressive nature, his aggressive music, for 50 cent to say “I don’t want it with you anymore, I respect you!” is like God & Satan shaking hands…his is ego is so great he would allow himself to think that!…

I guess you have to dig deep down to find some respect for Ricky – Miss Info! How can anyone root for FIFTY? Ross is no fave of mines but FIFTY has just been lame ever since the KANYE loss. Has he made any music even slightly worthy of his status? He has hinted at his creative drought with the whole ‘I respect for being relevant without a song’ thing. INFO, I know you have to deal with these people, but be honest and just declare FIFTY’s ‘musical career’ flatlined at the moment.

50 killed him from the beginning, but in the end officer ricky wins cause his album comes out april 21 and 50 has no release date right now. ricky profited off the beef and it will probally help him sell a few more even though he looked worse and worse as this has gone on. so with the big picture being selling albums and making money officer ricky takes this one, fif could have finished him off anytime but he fell back.

Lets keep things in perspective. Both 50 and Ross have engaged in a heated battle over the last few weeks.
Lines have been crossed, baby moms have been thrown in, mom’s resume’s, pimps and hoes e.t.c have all played a part in this beef.
Morality and principles and taking the high road are no longer up for discussion.
That being said I think Ross is stupid for not taking the money.. If your getting beaten up publicly and nothing good has come from it why wouldn’t you take the $500K?? If the phone call was true.
Now as for the prank G-Unit had nothing to do with it. So it’s about Ross and how everybody is taking him for a champ just like they did Young Buck. I think it’s time to move on and pick a fight he can win. C’mon who can Ross beat right now? It’s over Soulja Boy would destroy him.

This makes Ross look so bad. Frankly I mean he told the truth, but he looks like an ass. Its one thing to get pranked, but is he that stupid he thought it was real? So he tells the world like it was something dissing 50, like they tried to bribe me, but I aint with that, like he makes himself look so stupid, and he was bragging about it like he was the shit or something. Sorry, but he already lost this beef, which it shows you that when someone doesnt even have to make songs to kill you, thats bad. And frankly, Banks killed Ross with his track Officer Down, but shit just gets worse for Ross.

lol this is lose-lose for ross , he was proven not to have lied , (this instance) but instead was proven to be a dummy that not only got punked , but believed he was so far ahead in the beef that 50 cent would get “nelson” to cough up a half a mil so rick ross could back off lmfao!! anybody see’s the kind of egomaniac fif is would know that he would not do that if his life depended on it.
Fact is backing down for a half million would have been a stupid move , because he would look like a bitch to the public and that would probably cost him more than that when the album drops , jadakiss said this week that def-jam cut him a million upfront , honestly rick ross is a bigger selling artist so a half mil wouldnt be enough. even if he was gonna take a deal like that, a half a mil would be peanuts , so ralphige giving him respect for not taking a half mil doesnt count for sh*t , the man’s leasing a vehicle with a msrp of around $400,000.
ralphige needed to come forward the day of or the day after , rick went public with it waiting over a week to come forward allowed more and more damage to be done . i dont respect rick ross , but to sit by while he’s taking a ass kicking in the public for 8 days , considering 50 cent didnt respond to the allegations for at least 5 or 6 days is some f**ked up sh*t , any way you slice it. especially when rick ross’s credibility has been under such heavy fire that allegation was the straw that broke the camel’s back for a lotta people when it came to rick ross’s fairy tales because it was so ridiculous it simply could not be believed .
