It’s a known fact that Kanye West and his late mom, Donda, shared a close bond, but a lot of his may not be aware of just how much a fan she was of his music. Today, some vintage footage surfaced of the two sharing rap lines at a table. This clip truly captures the essence of their relationship. The video, that dates back pre-College Dropout and shows momma West bringing up some of her favorite Kanye lyrics, and the two begin to rap, reminiscing back on the verse. The home-made video pulls at your heartstrings while simultaneously proving that Mrs. West can spit. #DONDA

Wow…that was really powerful…..it really shows his support system was fully intact….I mean to the utmost….for your Mom to memorize your rhymes and it’s not like he was on the radio and she heard the song all the time, she recalled more than he did…wow. It also shed a little perspective on her Death for me. I always wondered why his Mom was getting plastic surgery in the 1st place, like being an older woman, a Mom and higly educated, I didn’t see the importance, but at the same time I was just judging on what I saw, I didn’t have a clue as to her personality….but now I see she was very hip and probably concerned with her look publicly…such a shame….RIP
